Announcing oDesk Partnership

We are excited to announce the partnership with oDesk to power our new Loaded 7 Job Board. Which will be part of the new site re-launch when Loaded 7 releases in June.

oDesk is providing code we can place on our site that will do double duty. First it will give a searchable list of developers that are experienced in Loaded Commerce development. Secondly it will provide a searchable list of Loaded Commerce related projects.

oDesk will also be proving a new group in oDesk that developers can join to interact with Loaded Commerce and receive special training and easier access to developer resources.

Here is the propaganda press release in all it’s glory:

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 30, 2013

Loaded Commerce, offering one of the most advanced open source shopping cart software solutions, Loaded 7, today announced that it has partnered with oDesk. oDesk is the world’s largest online workplace, enabling businesses and freelancers to work together on-demand via the Internet. This partnership provides Loaded Commerce merchants’ access to pre-screened design and development freelancers on oDesk, while also providing Loaded Commerce developers access to more job opportunities.

The partnership will deliver the following benefits to the Loaded Commerce ecosystem:
Access to Talent: Merchants will be able to post jobs on oDesk that appear on both the Loaded Commerce community sites as well as on oDesk’s marketplace, increasing the likelihood of connecting with a qualified professional for the job. Merchants will also be able to connect with developers within the distributed admin.

More Job Opportunities: Developers and designers with Loaded 7 expertise will also appear on the Loaded 7 site, allowing businesses in search of talent to search for and hire these professionals directly.
Salvatore Iozzia, CEO of Loaded Commerce states, “We want to bring developers and merchants together in the most effective and efficient manner. Instead of building our own job board, oDesk allows us to tap into the vast talent available among their more than three million registered professionals worldwide. This is the best of both worlds for our merchants and us.”

“We’re excited to work with Loaded Commerce to help develop and grow their ecosystem,” said Matt Gniadek, oDesk’s Head of Business Development. “Loaded Commerce merchants will gain unprecedented access to oDesk’s three million contractors for customization and integration work, while providing oDesk users additional e-commerce job opportunities.”
