Adding a New Product

To begin, make sure that you are in the Products List page of Loaded 7.  There are three ways to get there, using Image 1A as a reference-

  1. First, by selecting Products from the Quick Select Nav Bar on the left of the page, you will be brought to the Products List page immediately.  You can select Add New Product from there.
  2. Secondly, select Products from the Admin User Menu on the right, select Products List and Add New Product yourself.
  3. Thirdly, you can select Quick Adds, which opens directly to Products List and the Add New Product window for you.

Once you are in Products List, select the Add New Product button as in Image 1B.  As you can see, there are 6 tabs, each needing certain information for each product that you add. Those tabs, as seen in Image 1C, are-

    1. Content – Name, description, permalink, and meta tags for the product.  As well as an image up-loader for the product in question.
    2. Data – Listing information on the product.
    3. Options – Allows for variations of a product.
    4. Pricing – Set up the price information of the product.
    5. Shipping – Setting up the shipping account information for each.
    6. Relationships – Determining which categories the product will be available in.

Note:  After you have entered the information for each tab, you can click the Save button above to save your progress so far and continue adding product information, select Save and Close to save your progress to return to it later or Cancel to delete the information you have entered and stop adding a new product.
