The configuration menu groups all of the necessary information that your store needs in order to operate. The following types of information are required as this information can affect operational values or satisfy local legal requirements.

All of the items within the above sections can be edited simply by clicking on the Edit button in each section and adding to or changing the information already there. The following guide is for each section of the Configuration Menu.

My Store

The My Store section of the Configuration Menu has all of the information that Loaded 7 needs to set your store up and that information can be edited as needed. The items are:

  • Store Name – name of the store.

  • Store Owner – name of the store owner.

  • E-mail Address – where customer e-mail should go.

  • E-mail From – the address that you send store e-mail from.

  • Country – the country the store is in.

  • Zone – the zone, state or province within the country that the store is in.

  • Send Extra Order E-mails To – either the same or a different address than above.

  • Allow Guest To Tell A Friend – yes or no.

  • Store Address And Phone – the business address of the store.

  • Tax Decimal Places – set the number of decimal places for tax.

  • Pricing Decimal Places – set the number of decimal places for pricing.

  • Display Prices With Tax – yes or no.

  • Down For Maintenance – yes or no.

And once more, to edit those items, click the Edit button for each section.

Minimum Values

Loaded 7 needs to know the minimum length of review text. Press Edit to set this value.

Maximum Values

These items determine how much text a customer can input into each field, and can be edited using the Edit button.

Set image height and width and whether to enable to display broken images.

Customer Details

This menu option allows you to enable certain details that Loaded 7 will require of customers when they register. Those details are:

  • Gender – Ask for or require the customer’s gender.

  • First Name – Minimum requirement for the customers first name.

  • Last Name – Minimum requirement for the customers last name.

  • Date of Birth – Ask for the customer’s date of birth.

  • E-mail Address – Minimum requirement for the customer’s e-mail address.

  • Password – Minimum Requirement for the customer’s password.

  • Newsletter – Ask for a newsletter subscription.

  • Company Name – Ask for or require the customers company name.

  • Street Address – Minimum requirement for a customer’s street address.

  • Suburb – Ask for or require the customer’s suburb.

  • Zip Code – Minimum requirement for customer’s postal code.

  • City – Minimum requirement for the customer’s city.

  • State – Ask for or require the customer’s state.

  • Country – Ask for the customer’s country.

  • Telephone Number – Ask for or require the customer’s phone number.

  • Fax Number – Ask for or require the customer’s fax number.

Information that helps Loaded 7 configure shipping and packaging options is modified here.


  • Country of Origin – Select the country of origin to be used in shipping quotes.

  • Postal Code – Select the postal code (ZIP) to be used in shipping quotes.

  • Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship – Carriers have a max weight limit for a single package.This is a common one for all.

  • Package Tare Weight – What is the weight of typical packaging of small to medium packages.

  • Larger Packages Percentage Increase – For 10%, enter 10.

  • Default Shipping Unit – Select the unit of weight to be used for shipping.

Product Listing

The following items help Loaded 7 configure how your store’s products are displayed.


  • Display Product Image – Do you want to display the product image?

  • Display Product Manufacturer Name – Do you want to display the product manufacturer name?

  • Display Product Model – Do you want to display the product model?

  • Display Product Name – Do you want to display the product name?

  • Display Product Price – Do you want to display the product price?

  • Display Product Quantity – Do you want to display the product quantity?

  • Display Product Weight – Do you want to display the product weight?

  • Display Buy Now column – Do you want to display the buy now column?

  • Display Category/Manufacturer Filter – (0=disable; 1=enable) – Do you want to display the Category/Manufacturer Filter?

  • Location of Prev/Next Navigation Bar – (1-top, 2-bottom, 3-both) – Sets the location of the Prev/Next Navigation Bar (1-top, 2-bottom, 3-both)

  • Price Break Format – Displaying Price Break as a range, starts at, low as, or no format.

Configurations that help manage the stock and inventory of your store.


  • Check stock level – Check to see if sufficient stock is available.

  • Subtract stock – Subtract product in stock by product orders.

  • Auto-disable out of stock products – Yes or no.

  • Disable Add to Cart for out of stock products – Disabled the add to cart button on the product page displays text that product is out of stock.
  • Mark product out of stock – Display something on screen so customer can see which product has insufficient stock.

  • Stock Re-order level – Define when stock needs to be re-ordered.

Set the maximum amount of time that a user’s session lasts and set whether to force cookie use or not.

 Email Options

These options help Loaded 7 configure how email is used.

  • E-mail Transport Method – Defines if this server uses a local connection to send mail or uses an SMTP connection via TCP/IP. Servers running on Windows and MacOS should change this setting to SMTP.

  • E-mail Line Feeds – Defines the character sequence used to separate mail headers.

  • Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails – Do you want to send emails in HTML format?

  • Verify E-Mail Addresses Through DNS – Do you want to verify e-mail addresses through a Domain Name Server?

  • Send E-mails – Do you want to send out e-mails?

Information to help Loaded 7 configure any downloads.

  • Enable download – Enable the product’s download function.

  • Download by redirect – Use browser redirection for download.  Disable for Unix machines.

  • Expiry delay (days) – Set the number of days before the download link expires.  0 means no limit.

  • Maximum number of downloads – Set the maximum number the product can be downloaded. 0 means no downloads authorized.

This section determines whether regulatory protocols are adhered to during the use of the store.

  • Confirm Terms and Conditions During Checkout Procedures – Do you want to show the terms and conditions of the checkout procedures which the customer must agree to?

  • Confirm Privacy Notice During Account Creation Procedure – Do you want to show the privacy notice during account creation which the customer must agree to?

Program Locations

These settings affect where Loaded 7 stores information.

  • GZIP – The program location to gzip.

  • GUNZIP – The program location to gunzip.

  • ZIP – The program location to zip.

  • UNZIP – The program location to unzip.

  • cURL – The program location to cURL.

  • ImageMagick “convert” – The program location to ImageMagicks “convert” to use when manipulating images.

Credit Cards

This section handles credit card verification.

  • Verify With Regular Expressions – Verify credit card numbers with server-side regular expression patterns.

  • Verify With JavaScript – Verify credit card numbers with JavaScript based regular expression patterns.

These options affect the purchasing experience for your customers.

  • Suppress Non-Mobile Payment Modules –  Suppress non-mobile payment modules in catalog when being viewed in mobile format.
  • Skip Shipping Page – Bypass the checkout shipping page? No shipping will be charged.
  • Suppress Non-Mobile Payment Modules – Suppress non-mobile payment modules in catalog when being viewed in mobile format.

  • cURL Proxy Host Name –  If you are required to use a cURL proxy, enter the host name here.
  • cURL Proxy Username – If your proxy requires a username, enter it here.
  • cURL Proxy Password – cURL Proxy Password.
  • cURL Proxy Port – cURL Proxy Port.
